Every two weeks, on Fridays, Tertulia coliving hosts a Potluck Dinner — a simple gathering where residents and members of the local community come together to share food, conversation, and connection.
The Potluck Dinner is an opportunity to bring together people from different backgrounds in an informal setting. It’s a space to meet neighbors, make new acquaintances, and spend time with friends — all around a shared meal. Conversations often flow in English and Italian, making it a casual chance to practice a language or help someone else do the same.
Everyone contributes by bringing a dish — something homemade or picked up from a local shop. The kitchen at Tertulia is fully equipped and available if you’d like to prepare something on-site. There’s no pressure — just the idea that everyone adds something to the table.
Before the dinner starts, we set up the space together. There’s always music playing (do you know some interesting music that you would like to share with the others? just connect to the bluetooth speaker and play it!), someone slicing vegetables, others chatting over a glass of wine from our honesty bar — stocked with local wines and craft beer. The pace is unhurried. The table fills up gradually. People drift in, help set up, pour drinks, and settle into conversation.
