Tertulia is in Tuscany, in the province of Florence.
We are in the municipality of Vicchio in Mugello, on the slopes of the Tuscan Apennines between Florence and Bologna.
In Vicchio there is the train station, the A1 highway passes through Barberino del Mugello 35 minutes from Tertulia. For those coming by plane, the nearest airports are those of Florence, Pisa and Bologna.
We are pleased if to organize your trip you decide to use low-energy vehicles, or solutions that optimize transport costs. Keep in mind that Tertulia is an isolated place and if you don’t have your own vehicle we ask you to write to us to better organize your stay, also thinking about your mobility needs.
We are only 10 minutes from Vicchio. Tertulia can be easily reached by car (the road becomes dirt only for the last 800 m). After Vicchio, if you are going towards Dicomano, on the left turn for Villore, Paterno, Farneto (just after the cemetery). After 3 km on the right follow the signs for Tertulia.farm, direction Paterno and continue 2 km on an uphill road until the sign for Tertulia on the left.
Note: use the google maps navigator and not the standard car one! Since it does not always maintain a high signal level, we recommend that you write down the textual instructions to reach us without unexpected events!
In Vicchio there is the train station. The connection with Florence is approximately every hour. If you come by train let us know in time to organize a transport to Tertulia (we do not offer a regular shuttle service but we organize the mobility together with our guests)
The bus service is offered by autolinee toscane. It’s the same as for the train option to organize your mobility once you reach Tertulia.
It would be great if you came by bike! The last 2 km, however, are from the mountain grand prix and with the final dirt road. But then it’s all downhill to start again!
